Thank you for your interest in adopting a reptile(s) from Empty Cage Collective. The animals available for adoption have been rescued from abandonment, abuse, neglect and other forms of cruelty. We want to ensure that the best possible home is found for the animals that have been entrusted into our care.

Please note that there is a required adoption donation to adopt a companion animal from us, as rescuing animals properly is an expensive endeavor. It costs substantial amounts of money to provide the extensive care (day-to-day care, medications, emergency veterinary care, etc.) which most reptiles need after we rescue them. We appreciate any and all donations – whether they are in the form of needed supplies, food, veterinary care, or cash.

Once you have submitted the application, an ECC representative will contact you as soon as possible to confirm the receipt. If we do not do so within a day, your application may have not submitted.

If we have not yet communicated via email (adopt@emptycagescollective.org and info@emptycagescollective.org), in regards to your present adoption application, please send us an email, letting us know of your adoption interest, so we may follow up with detailed information regarding said adoption.

One of the references must not be related to you, and NONE should share the same residence as you. If you are under 18 years old, please have an adult fill out the application on their name, and have you listed as a primary caregiver.
